    Exactly.

The BS that SR put up with from the "Usual Suspects" was/is disgraceful.

Hopefully he reconsiders and will pop in from time to time. One of the few True Info assets on this site and a bunch of whiny self loathing jerks ruin it for all of us.

    Shameful.

100% agree, you hit the target with this post. It's also why I rarely post in this thread, as the usual caustic naysayers appear over and over although since AMCHD lit up, it's been nice and quiet here

    Mystery, you got it.

10-4. The same naysayers appear continuously. Within ~4-5 hours after AMCHD lit, one of them posted their usual "negativity" here.

"Racer", be assured that you also have readers here that rarely post but hope you'll return soon.

 to the guys here that post frequently to counter the naysayers on this forum.

+10 for the positive comments on SR from all the DirecTV viewers I know. If he's not on vacation I think he's still with us. Just nothing to add to anticipation yet. My appreciation & thanks out to SR, Tom Robertson and Sixto for all their prior comments to get us all "anticipated" up. I suspect one of the 3 or all 3 will be back in this thread when the time is ripe for good anticipation news (or rumors).

And imagine the ratings this year if, as appears likely, there's no NBA season at all!

I'll believe there's no season when it's axed. It'll probably be like 98. A shortened season everyone kind of liked in that shortened form which is always fun because there's way too many playoff teams which will keep the playoffs going as long as the reg season.

Turner Classic Movies in HD please! Give the fans of old, classic movies the best picture please. TCM in HD is #1 on my list.

I completely agree! TCM is at the top of my HD wish list, followed by the Fox Movie Channel and BBCA.

As for new channels, I would love to have Epix and Epix 2.

I'll agree with you on certain items , like electronics where they are mainly talking about the features of the item. But when they are are presenting jewelry, clothes or beauty products that are more visual information, you need to be able to see them in the best picture quality possible. The 4 months I lived in an area that QVC HD. You see those type of items 100% better in HD, then what you can in SD on D*

I'm not a big viewer of QVC but when I do watch it, it would sure be better in HD.

Thanks to my wife I see QVC more than most other SD channels.

But I'd love to have TCM HD, although I've got more HD than I can watch already!

Agreed. I pretty much have all I need in HD now (and have for some time), but wouldn't object to the shopping channels in HD.

I rarely watch them, but when I do (usually at xmas time), they'd certainly be better in HD.

Think about this carefully my friend. A wife with a credit card watching SD QVC is likely to be less dangerous to your family budget then a wife with a credit card watching QVC in HD. ;)

Speaking of wives, mine likes to watch OWN.

So at this moment I really only have 2 HD wishes:

    - BBC America in HD.
    - OWN in HD.

I think that'll do for me. Maybe TCM in HD as well, but that's really about it.

It would very nice of Directv if they would use 5-7 slots for new HD from the channels we've recently mentioned here. Please, please, and please add TCM, Fox Movies, BBCA, E!, and a couple others. We're asking nicely. :)
