Epix repeats movies over and over, more so than HBO & STARZ.
I don't mind that, though I would prefer less repeats.
That said, I have Premier and watch much more original series and Boxing than anything else on the premiums. I would very much welcome Epix to the fold.
Maybe Epix will be coming "soon"?
Investigate Discovery in HD would be nice.
Everything in HD would be nice.
Epix is not coming soon
The print deadlines are set pretty far in advance. More HD is coming...rest assured.
Great! I wonder if it could be Cooking, Reelz, LMN, H2, LOGO, TV Land or MTV2 all have high definition content On Demand now? Some of these possibly?
I'm pretty sure I'm reaching here, but that's very interesting how what you responded to and how your response was phrased...
He mentioned the December Direct magazine lacking any announcements of new hd... And your response was that print deadlines are far in advance. Now, i take that to mean that just because it didn't make the August (or whatever month deadline) for a December magazine doesn't mean that there won't be HD additions in December. And then you say more hd is coming... which of course we all know.... just intersting that you include that statement when you are dismissing a lack of an announcement in a December magazine... SUTB?
Which of course doesn't surprise me... But what does surprise is that your website makes mention of programming on Epix in Nov and then specifically state "on Epix".
I'm just puzzled how whatever group that is responsible for that makes a mistake like referring to a channel that you aren't planning to add any time soon (if ever). That'd be like Ford issuing a press release saying "check out our 2014 F150 on Nov 17 at the Detroit Auto Show" and then saying... "ummm... we have no plans to release a 2014 F150 soon... pay no attention to what our official communication said".
Mistakes can be made at times. Unfortunate. I would regard an official communication of a channel launch to come in the form of D* announcing a channel is coming, not a page that lists programs to watch this week and inadvertently placed the wrong program from the wrong channel. It was an unfortunate mistake, but a mistake nevertheless.
I don't think your analogy of the Ford example is comparable as the listing in question was one of many programs you should tune to, not a dedicated press release of a new truck. Just my two cents, but I get where you are coming from. Yes, even Ford makes mistakes and so does DIRECTV at times.
Heh- In my observation, SatRacer doesn't bite on cleverly (and nicely) worded attempts to get him to be more specific than what he's already posted.... a very nice try, indeed!
I wonder why DirecTV subscribers don't have access to these (appears only Cox), especially with them being part owners...
Or is this maybe what we already get at the DirecTV Everywhere site for Starz and Encore networks?
That's good enough of a heads up for me.
Sounds good. Hoping for H2, HLN, ID, LMN, FMC, or TVLAND in HD.
Would be nice.
I'm hoping when G4 gets rebranded they try to reopen negotiations for a new deal. I miss College PD and Ninja Warrior.
