    Quote from another site:

Look for the SONYMovie Channel next week or so, as well as Indieplex and Retroplex. FearNet might be added @ the end of the month too.

Will fearNet start on D* on 10/31 or late on 11/1? or 11/3?

Channel 4 San Diego? Please? Now that the regular season is over that channel can wait until April, but I would be disappointed if it's not up by then.

The new AppleTV has a contract with BBC America to stream their shows for .99 cents each the next day in HD. So if we do not get BBC HD by the time the detective series Luther begins in October, this is one of the ways to go.

Does this site have a name? Is it even reliable?

Not sure about which site he's referring to, or whether or not the person who said it is reliable, BUT those are the channels I would expect the most, so I'm going to believe it.

Though I'd gladly give them all up for AMC, BBC America, TCM, etc., Sony Movie Channel and FearNet will be welcomed by me. Indieplex and Retroplex, ehh...

It'd be nice to have an "indie" channel that's actually in HD (the other 2 aren't). I'm not into classics much but another one won't hurt.

I'm still eagerly awaiting for these networks in HD on D*:

    AMC
    BBC
    DIY
    FMC
    History International
    HLN
    IFC
    TCM

as well as my local PBS station (WITF). My local Comcrap has offered just about all of these for some time. My parent's Time Warner also has offered most of these since late last winter. Why not D*?

I'm with you but I doubt Cox is going to negotiate in good faith with D* to share the Padres games.

After the past 2 blackouts of the Chargers games due to lack of ticket sales and the Padres giving an exclusive to antiquated Cox Cable till 2012, fans are really in bad shape in San Diego.

I hope that with all of the dish network subs jumping ship over the loss of DisneyHD related channels and now Fox Related channels, that DTV would get on the ball and add the national channels they are missing such as BBCA, EpixHD, CinimaxHD (the rest of them) AMCHD, IFCHD, G4HD, EHD, ect. By getting on the ball they could win not only these subs over but their current subs. Essentially cornering the market and putting a knockout blow to dish by becoming that provider to offer everything in hd.

This is an opportunity for Directv, launching 3 or so channels as satellite racer indicated, isn't seizing the moment. Launching 30 or more channels would be seizing the moment.

DirecTV the moment is for you to seize, don't let it go to waste!
