Per D* site they will be using Sports Mix. Plus they are also saying events will be on D* on Demand and free online through NBCOlympics.com

It certainly seems contrary to state "See all the action on the snow and ice in crystal-clear HD" and then not have the Mix channel in HD, nor MSNBC HD.

The main screen on the front page of the web-site shouts Olympics HD.

Seems hard to believe, but will wait to see how this plays out over the weekend. It just can't be true. Could easily use the NFL/MLB Mix slots.

I bet if MSNBC was a 24/7 sports channel we'd have it in HD by now.

Some movement. Looks like prep for Mix Channel (9xxx) and swap of CINEHD/USAHD & A&EHD/CNBCHD for bandwidth balancing. Both NBC HD are now on D10 TP14 which only has 4 channels (good for PQ!).

I doubt they have any intention of adding MSNBC HD prior to or even during the Olympics.
