I never watch the 24/7 news networks unless something huge has happened. The hockey games on MSNBC is basically the only thing I plan to watch on those channels.

This is entirely about the Olympics. Whether people like MSNBC or not(and I'm sure many people who are upset about this, don't), it's pretty much a guarantee that MSNBC will be added in HD for their regular programming once D12 is active. D* had at least nine months if not more to make sure that as the "HD Leader" and the "Sports Leader" they would carry all their Olympic coverage was in HD. It seems like every other television provider made strides to do this. DirecTV didn't.

I usually watch CNN but when they get too repetitive like they often do I switch it to MSNBC. Apparently its not that great though, in the daytime it looks like CNBC with all the extra graphs and stuff.

There are some channels in the 500 range that say test. What's up with those?

And witness the scurge of reality shows. But back to whether anyone would watch after the Olympics the numbers I'm looking at are CNN and MSNBC. MSNBC appears about even with CNN and CNN is HD and has advantage by being in cheaper packages. So by numbers alone I'd say the poster has proven the point that MSNBC should be HD. :)

No No No you have it all backwards....HD actually makes the picture Clearer, not blurrier....that cant be a good thing for them....stay blurry. :)

Captian obvious here. this is obvious when there are red flags/delays in the programming, none the less 2 in the race! Get down to the numbers and more people watched this one overall than last year which is a big improvement in my book esp. when you consider the olympics going on at this same time.
Its a fact that delays cause people to lose interest and in turn effect the overall ratings, and when you throw in 2 its a catastrophe.

......dont you have a dissapointing/choking fball team to worry about?

Guys, there's not supposed to be any political ranting here.

Not cool to call people names just because of their political affiliations either. :icon_lame

Exactly, can a mod please clean the last month of this thread and get it back to Sixto updating the HD channels on the streams and valid questions/issues? Including this post...
