Been trying update the locations of my receivers since Friday. I change 'em, but they only stay until I logoff and at which they revert back to their old locations.

And dealing with CSR appears to be a waste of time as they change everything to other.

Working fine for me. Are you trying to do it through a smart phone?

Same exact issue here. I really wouldn't care except the iPad app loads the location from the website. So I need to use 'guest bedroom' for master and vice versa. Kind of annoying.

Same thing happening to me. First noticed it on Monday when I activated two new receivers (upgrade/swap). Tried changing the names for them online, via computer, iphone, and ipad; however, they reverted back to how the CSR had inputted them in the next time I logged on.

On a side note, the D* Agent on the phone (when I activated the new receivers) could not de-activate the two receivers that were being replaced.

They brought these issues up to the Escalation Department (as the CSR put it) and said that it should be okay in 24 hours. I also sent an email via the D* website. I have spoken to two more CSRs since then, but they still have not resolved the problems (name changes and de-activation) two days later.

Finally got a fairly bright individual. He changed the four I needed change to the right other/room names.

I just took out the other. I hate their ALL CAPS stuff. It seems harder to read.

I look tomorrow and see if my update was successful.

Did you speak to a front-line CSR or did you call or were transfered to a different department?

This time. I ended up in tech dept fairly quickly without going thru a lot wasted questions. Like why did you move them? Or where is the location of your new home?

Did you call the 800 # and when you were prompted, did you say, "Technical Support" or something similar? Or did you call a direct number to get to the Tech Dept.?

I've been trying to get ahold of someone in the Tech Department, but have been unsuccessful. I've just been getting transferred to a supervisor or someone from Protection Plan and they all have ended up saying that they are going to escalate the issue up to the technical department.

Saying agent, representative, and especially tech got me all over the place. I would need to hang up and cool down.

I wish they could take TRs via email. I find those are a lot less frustrating.

System Error according to the CSRs.

Initially, they thought that it was because one of the receivers was the Primary on the account. I explained that neither of them were and after verifying that neither were, they couldn't figure out why the receivers could not be removed from the account.

Then they thought it was the specific models and/or lease/owned status of the receivers. But, it turns out that none of the receivers on the account were able to be de-activated.

Oh well. I guess I'll just have to play the waiting game and see what happens.

Regarding the initial issue, I can confirm the same behavior that Drucifer is seeing. I have alerted a few friends about it.

So, how did it go? Are you able to update online without having it revert back to how it was previously?

Still can't do it on my account via the website.

Didn't take. The four went back to other/ALL CAPS.

I received an email from D* this morning stating that the issue had been escalated to a specialist.

I then logged on to see if I could update the room locations and was successful in changing the names.

This issue still persistes. Logging out and logging back in reverts to the old locations. I tried multiple ways. 1) choosing from the default list of locations 2) choosing 'other' and naming the locations myself. Both ways fail to update.
