i don't see BBWR, I only see DTV on your report - is there something that I am missing on my analysis?

"BBWR" is referenced elsewhere in the guide data.

    "D10 9 PT 9660 *DTV 1060 PID823 `abenga])"BBWR=HD PPV Test 9660tv:dtv6075.ch6075""

gct has the tools to properly report in better detail.

Maybe they are doing capacity test of some kind. No idea what BBWR means (could be an internal name, could even be the initials of the people working it) but this is a lot of stuff all at once.

The 9701-9708 are not marked with the BBWR then? Why would they have 9701-9708 today when 701-708 are already in test for the US Open?

    I am missing something here....

Unless AFTER the US-Open they are going to place PAC12's 7 channels on 701-708, and henceforth use 710 and up or 750 and up for special events.

Neat trick. Seven channels on eight slots. One of them a Mix channel (all showing the same event/program)?

    no no no.

Those 970x channels are always there, when the 70x channels go in.

Oh, okay. They didn't seem to be in the report. So, we focus on the three others, then.

When you look at all the posting over the years, whenever the temporary 70x event channels go "live" there's always those 970x channels, that's why I listed them as US Open.

I think that it has something to do with the way they do Mix channels.

The only BBWR channels are those 3 in the 9660's.

They must be the removed PPV feeds?

    Huh?

    As an example ...

When they add a few 70x channels, they also add 970x channels that match, and there's the mix channel as the first channel.

    Has always been this way.

Sometimes the same day, sometimes spread out over a few days, they come and eventually go.

Same with the Olympics, same with NFL, all the time, just look back thru the thread.

Those 3 966x channels are different. BBWR, whatever that is.

Ah OK that explains it a little better. Now we just need to figure out what this BBWR is all about :)

Hmm 9660 has a pid of 1060, so it is a 6th HD?

BBWR has a long description of HD PPV test? So it's pay per view? Anything to do with BIG BEAUTIFUL WOMEN? :)
