There seems to be much talk in the forum of retention deals, and sports package discounts, and how things might be changing with AT&T at the helm. Some speculate that AT&T is tightening down on discounts. Tonight I received an email promo from AT&T/DirecTV essentially offering 2 years of a free sports subscription if I were to sign up for AT&T wireless. (I already have AT&T wireless through a family member.) Anyways, it is possible that they are clamping down on Sunday ticket discounts or freebies in order to not negate their ability to cross promote. Just some thoughts.
