I'm getting both. Should be getting ACC.

Yes, I get SEC and Big Ten, but nothing for ACC. However, I am in the Chicago area. I am a Pitt grad, so ACC would be appreciated.

I am able to view the ACC Network. I am not in ACC territory and I have the XTRA package. I do have the Sports Pack though.

I also have both the BTN and SECN with or without Sports Pack. I am concerned that the ACCN requires Sports Pack outside ACC territory.

The ACC network is part of a sports package that costs 13.99 a month. Just found that out through chat. They did offer it to me for free for three months but being a Big Ten fan I was not interested enough.

Interesting. I'm on the phone now and they are saying I'm supposed to get it here in Memphis. 50/50 shot if they're wrong but I'll post what I find out.

If this is accurate, I am surprised Disney/ESPN made the deal with DIRECTV to have it in the Sports Pack unlike other ESPN channels.

Also, although I am getting the ACCN channel with Xtra and Sports Pack, I am not able to stream it via the ESPN app on my Roku. It says "Media Not Allowed. Access to this program is not included in your provider subscription."

So it requires Sports Pack AND we can't stream it? Wow.

Anyone without the sports pack and outside the ACC footprint getting this channel?

Can confirm. ACC is part of the sports pack. She added it and I got it to show up. I was able to get the sports pack free for 3 months plus an additional $5 off for 3 months when she added it. Sounds good to me.

Well I am in ACC territory, but don’t have Sports Pack (Xtra), so why would I still be getting it?

Weird. Were we just expecting this to go “wider” than that, or were we actually led into that belief? I think the latter, if only by logic (since this is one if those joint operations with ESPN, like the SEC)...

I think because you're in the footprint. I'm in Memphis. Only reason I can think of.

But Directv doesn’t usually (ever?) “regionalize” things like that, do they?

Also, did the csr say whether or not you’d be able to watch the live telecasts with Sports Pack? I know at least the pro sports leagues are 100% blacked out on that...

Good question. I didn't ask. I assumed I would be able to watch the ACC games. The others in the sports pack I knew would be subject to blackout rules. I was surprised ACC ended up in a sports pack. Big 10 and SEC didnt. Why this one?

I guess I'm getting it because I'm in Clemson/Georgia Tech territory. I went to a Big Ten school, but grew up in Pittsburgh so it will be nice to have access to Pitt games.
