Dish Anywhere on PC keeps turning my monitors back on even if I am not running it.
I have to cntrl-alt-del and kill the process.
After killing the background process, I have to uninstall and re-install for it to work.

Called support and they will submit the bug to Engineering.
No date or notification when or if fixed will be provided.

I have always had problems after running Dish Anywhere on my PC. After searching on Google I came across others that had the same problem... I also found a little batch file that someone had posted that "fixed" the problem. Create a batch file on your desktop, and copy and paste this:

    Taskkill /IM DishAnywherePlayer.exe /F
    exit

Save it, and name it something that makes sense you you (Kill Dishplayer worked for me) and run it everytime you exit Dish Anywhere...
    It solved my problems...

Dishanywhere does let the display turn off (sleep). Tell it not to start with windows and you should be all right. Worked for me.

But wouldn't he still have the problem after he used Dish Anywhere?
I am also using Win10, my user account is an admin, maybe look there...

I don't believe so. The issue occurs when DA is resident in the system tray.

The new version of "DA" solves this problem, the PC will now go to sleep with it resident.
