You would get the acquiring signal message then.
It could also be that the problem was on one ARC. Either Eastern Arc or Western Arc. Different ARC = different uplink center.
I had no problems with it on KARE 11HD, as retransmitted by Dish (Channel 11.0/6349, western arc).
I got the same thing last night on the Cleveland locals for both WJW (FOX) and WKYC (NBC). However this was just the HD feed off 61.5. I switched to the SD feed off 110 and everything was still there.
For all of you that had problems last night, what feed were you watching (HD or SD) and which orbital location is that feed coming from? I bet there were "anomalies" on 61.5.
BTW: I eventually switched to OTA to get HD without interruptions.
HD....and I'm on DirecTV, not Dish....
X2...and it did correct itself after a while.
So your saying the local feeds HD dropouts happened on D* as well!?!
Are the 2 satellite providers sharing "POP's"? Wait, that should have only affected one DMA. Is it possible that there was a problem on the fiber optic network that feeds the providers form the POP's?
No idea man...just saying...I got signal interruptions during the game as well....clear skies....and I'm on DirecTV. Maybe just a coincidence? Maybe something else?
We had no problems with Dish utilizing the Milwaukee NBC feed during that great Pack win!
