    Hi,

I have one HD Dish, 1000.1 or 1000.2 I think. I'm not sure.

What do I need to connect 5 receivers to one dish.

Can you plesae confirm that I need two DPP44 sitches and only ONE power cable.

    Dish Network DP44 Switch w/ Power Inserter DPP44 Multi-Dish

    Dish Network DP44 Switch without

    Do I need any splitters?

I would appreciate any input regarding this installation or a diagram.

    Thanks!!

You do need 2 DPP44 switches to have 5 receivers connected. Each DPP44 will need its own power inserter, and each receiver will need its own cable from the switch (with DPP Separator for dual tuners).

Splitters can not be used between the receiver and the Switch/LNB

Here's a pic (with an extra DPP44 that you can ignore). It doesn't show the cabling to the receiver, but gives you an idea of the switch setup

If you're not using the 4th satellite input, the 2nd DPP44 can be replaced with a cheaper DPP33.

I believe that will only work if the LNB's are DP and not DPP LNB's. At least, I was always told the DPP33 will only work with DP LNB's.
