    Launches HD Free For Life Promotion

    ENGLEWOOD, Colo., June 7, 2010 – DISH Network L.L.C., America's fastest-growing pay-TV provider, today announced an expansion of high definition services in Puerto Rico with the introduction of 13 new HD channels*, plus new PPV and VOD HD channels.     While that's all well and good, we here in the Paducah-Cape Girardeau market still haven't gotten our HD locals. Com'on Charlie, finish off the HD local markets. You got your new bird up, I'm tired of watching my lamestream network sports in SD.

    The press release forgot to mention that Dish took away 4 HD channels for movie premium subscribers Encore HD, Starz W HD, Starz Edge HD and The Movie Channel HD are no longer visible to PR customers. I guess they did that just to make HD customers mad. The SD counterparts are still visible.:(

    Directv Latin just reach the 200,000 subs mark, here in the island and Dish make something stupid like this.

    If anyone know when does channels will be available? I read the news but it doesnt say the date or how to get those channels.

    Threads merged... no reason to start a new thread for the exact same topic.

    Meanwhile.. the press release mentions looking at the Dish Web site or calling Dish to find out about the new channels. That's probably the best way to find out more unless another user here already knows.
