DISH Working with Google on Android-powered Receiver

    This is probably way way out there if anything ever comes from this Google employee testing. I wouldn't be surprised if they were using the 922 hardware with a custom-build of Android. Doesn't the 922 already have a global guide search? How awesome would it be if they also included Web video in those search results like the new Tivo or Boxee? Kinda nice to see DISH working on something beyond what we have seen of the 922.

    Just what we need more "insert ads", instead of less. And they will do it based upon what you watch or search for; even better. Considering they ads just pop up at any time, on any channel now, what is to prevent an inappropriate ad ( Enzite, fro example)to air when a child is watching "Cartoon Network" during the day, because someone decided to watch "Adult Swim" the night before?
