My broadband is a mere 1.8 megs but I can stream Amazon, Netflix, hulu, vudu, etc with no problems. Running Firefox on a Windows 7 PC, Dishanywhere buffers constantly and the devices page shows I've tried to watch HD streams. I need SD streams but I can't figure out how to get them. I found a setting for having the guide display HD channels or SD channels but that isn't what I need. Dish support has never responded when I've asked via feedback.

Is the content in question on your DVR or something streaming from DISH?

I have no DVR. This is just streaming from the BB@Home section of dishanywhere.com

As far as I know, there isn't any way to choose the stream speed with demand content.

The best you can hope for is to make sure nothing else on your not-so-broadband connection is using bandwidth while you're watching such that the stream isn't getting irregularly interrupted.
