I have the Premier package. I really only use it for the occasional movie that I have not purchased on dvd and original movies and series.

Dropped HBO and Showtime last week. I have blockbuster and there's nothing on for the summer worth paying for.

Or, DirecTV should add ALL the Cinemax channels like cable. Even DISH has more Cinemax channels than DirecTV. They could get the bandwidth by eliminating some of the worthless shopping channels that nobody watches....

I took a look at my viewing habits over a few months and found I was watching many more movies on MGM HD and HDNet Movies (HD Extra Pack), so I dropped Starz.

We switch between HBO and Showtime depending on what series is currently showing. We rarely watch movies on either of them.

Used to have them all... dropped them many months ago and saver $45 per month + taxes.

We were only watching one movie every 2 months or so, and for that price, I'd rather do a PPV every couple of months or start up Netflix.

We have HD Extra Pack if that counts otherwise we have gone from getting them all to none. There just wasn't anything we were watching on them any longer.

Currently just Starz. They have the best overall movie selection and hoping they have even more choice via Starz on Demand.

Dropped HBO. Had it for movies and Sopranos / Sex and the City. Their new series don't do it for me/us, plus they fill the schedule with them. They also don't have the breadth of movies they used to.

I guess I don't consider it a premium movie channel to mention initially, but also finding that I like a lot of what's on HD Net movies. I do have the extra pack and have gotten more than our monies worth out of HD Net the past couple of months.

None right now. Used to have Starz (most channels for the money) but too many repeats.

Just use Netflix now and watch what movies I want.

Totally. Every time one of these free previews comes on I'll search through to see what movies are available, and I'm amazed at how much of the same crap they play over and over.

So it's family pack for me, until football season when I'll add the sports pack. If I really want to watch a movie, redbox DVD is only $1.

Just Showtime. It's the only premium channel that shows movies in OAR on the HD channels. If the movie was shot in 2.35:1 widescreen, I get to see it that way on Showtime. All the others pan & scan to 16x9.

Just got rid of HBO, Cinemax, and showtime. Kept Starz. Same movies over and over on these channels. Neflix a better deal.
