I keep adding it to queue. Shows as in queue briefly, then "falls off".
I don't know what's happened in the last four hours since the last post.. Are they getting hammered for this and it's an overload situation ?

(I can add and download other things, no problem)

    Quick question.

I Dl'd it and it says that it's a 24 hour rental, but it also says that it expires on 3/31. Does that mean it will be around until 3/31, but I only have 24 hours to finish watching it once I begin? I'm just confused if I have to watch it in the next day or not.

Grr. I was in the middle of downloading it (started around 17:45) and it looks like they deleted it in the middle. Looks like I got 75MB before they nuked it.

It's all the fault of DBS Talk. They must have had too many people hearing about it on here. I tried d/ling it this afternoon and after 2 hours only 9% had d/led then it disappeared from my list and from On Demand.

I was way over 80% at 5:55 it says "cancelled" in my history. I've only got a 2.5 download, so I wasn't going to be disapointed at a 7 hour download, but I wish it had been able to finish.

When I first saw it was available for $0.00 frankly I assumed someone at Directv had made a mistake. Is that possible ?

I think it was there for us to test. Glad I check here frequently!

It's still available on the directv website, it says it is a test and it is free, but I can not download it. It asks me to check my system, then tells me I'm eligible but won't let download. DoD has never worked for me from the website. I can record shows from the guide on the site, but not DoD. DoD does work for me from the receiver menu.

Where do you find the DoD stuff on the DirecTv website? Is it under Pay Per View? I can't find it.

It's not on the website. I think he meant in the DVR's On Demand program guide.

No it is on the website. Directv.com Sign in to your account and the orange "TV Listings" button goes away and becomes to separate links titled Guide and DVR scheduler. First link is TV and PPV Listings and 2nd is Directv on Demand Beta. At least mine does anyway. You do have to be actively signed in with your username and password, not just through cookies.

I found it too but it is $4.99 for the HD movie not free.

Also, I the movies listed as Showtime or Encore and these say free. Do you still have to sub to the channels to download via the website?
