Tonights Dodgers at Marlins game is being shown in SD only while the HD broadcast is in the guide for channel 634-1 FSFL. This is my local RSN and should broadcast. I also have MLB EI and Superfan and can watch other HD games. It's also in the guide for 737-1 and is being reported as blacked out there too.

    Called Support:

    1. Transferred
    2. Tech Support - Nice woman but really of no help. Told me there was an issue and it would come on after the Rays Red Sox game. I nicely told her the Rays are playing the Orioles and that when that game was over the Marlins game would be over too. She then realized she was talking about the Mariners.
    3. Friend is reporting the game is in HD on Comcast.

It really is time for DirecTV to have a dedicated group for their sports packages and problems.

Curious. Do you get dual feeds for this game. I don't have EI. Prime Ticket, (my local RSN) is currently showing the game in hd...

Yes, there are two SD feeds of the game. They are so blurry and bad it is basically unwatchable. The HD feed should be the Marlins tonight and it is available on Comcast locally.

    Phoenix,...
I am having the same issues with the Diamondbacks games. The games are listed on the HD channel, but when I tune in there is no game.

We'll if you get dual feeds, then why on earth can't you see the HD feed from at least Prime? I might be able to understand if you couldn't see your local because maybe FSN isn't sending the feed to Directv, but we know they are sending the feed of Prime, because I had it on, and we also know its a national feed, so what gives? Are dual feeds limited to SD and not HD?

It sounds like D* was out of space again. The available space changes daily depending on how many sporting events are on the docket for a given day. This problem will be solved when D11 goes live.

If FSNFL is the local feed for KenS then Prime Ticket will be blacked out on both HD/SD. There are times when I think the home team announcers are too homerish and would love to hear the perspective of the other teams announcers.

    Wishful thinking.

There were three feeds listed on the MLB-EI channels last night. Two SD and one HD. I assume the HD feed listed there was the same as the HD feed listed for my RSN (FSN FL). We got both SD feeds and neither of the HD.

In the end, the only way I was going to watch the game in HD last night was to be a Comcast subscriber and customer support, while courteous, had no clue what the problem was.

That may be it...wouldn't you think they would know that beforehand and at least change the guide though?

I'm guessing the one HD feed you saw in the guide was Primeticket, since I know it was broadcast in HD on that channel, which is conus and full time.

Sorry to get to this thread late, but if you're talking about the afternoon game, the Marlin announcers said the night before that the 12pm game was not going to be broadcast in HD, but that another game (which they did announce, but which I cannot recall) would be shown in HD later. Hope this clears things up for you if, in fact, you were talking about the businessman's special (12pm start).

Diamondbacks have this problem too, as all of their home games are in HD but sometimes DirecTV doesn't show the 649-1 feed for some reason, it makes no sense.

I has the same thing Giants @ Phillys, 732-1 HD grayed out (as in there is no HD feed), 732 SD blacked out (i live in dodger town) result: another missed game because D* is screwed up. Its my 11th missed game so far, I have spent HOURS with tech support gone through new HD-DVRs, and gotten no resolution thus far.
