    8. Of all the Cat People, who portrayed the first Cat Woman?

The genuine curve ball of the contest, as only 25% of you got it right. Everyone else thought that I was referring to the Cat Women from the Batman universe. However, the title was italicized, indicating a title, and I am referring to the 1942 film Cat People. Coincidentally, this movie aired last weekend on Turner Classic Movies, and the original reviews appeared on Friday, November 13, 1942. The film was remade in 1982 with Jerry Bruckheimer serving as executive producer.

(Not that I'm obsessive or anything... ;))

If we forgot what some of our answers were, and wanted to be reminded, where would we find this?

[Laverne wanders off muttering something about at least getting the 'Cal' part right....]

Did you want me to post your answers, or PM 'em? Your score was a "9".

    9. Which nation launched the first cat into space?

Sorry, folks, it was not the United States, Russia, Felix , or China, but France who launched the first cat into space on October 18, 1963. According to Space Today (scroll to nearly the end of the article), it isn’t known if the cat was named Felix or Felicette. 84.6% of you got this right. And, no, I don’t have a photo for this one.

PM please. I'd rather not have everyone know every way I'm not perfect. :sure:

    “Dog” (huh?),

Not certain if you misremembered my submission here or are refering to someone else's, but mine was "Wolf". ;) Named so because of his slightly odd facial features which resembled a wolf, and also his attraction to our black lab at the time. The two bonded and were inseperable.

I can see naming the cat "Wolf", but naming the cat "Dog".... :nono2:

And, yes, there will be a "Dog Days Of Summer III" contest.

How many entrants got them all correct? Being one of them, I'm curious as to the final odds for us rocket surgeons.
