Because poor poor CBS just can't afford to bring all of their games to us in HD. I feel so bad for the Tiffany network. (sarcasm)

    It's a joke actually.

Whats weird is that the game is in HD on the Red zone channel (718) when they go to it.

It's not CBS. They are doing it in HD. D* isn't offering it for some reason. Sucks..

You know what REALLY SUCKS!! I got an email from D* that SPECIFICALLY STATED that Miami at Texans was to be on 719 IN HD!! I set up to record on my dvr and guess what I did not have when I got home! This type of thing has happened to me 3 out of the last 5 weeks! BOY AM I PISSED!!!

This really surprises me. I thought the only limitation on getting a game in HD was whether or not the network broadcast it in HD. Very disappointing.

The truest definition of the limitation is not "did the network record in HD" but did the network distribute in HD. There have been a few times, perhaps this is one of them, where CBS or Fox was able to record in HD and show locally in the home market, but didn't have enough bandwidth or rebroadcast facilities to distribute the HD nationally.

And it does stink. This will not last much longer in the grand scheme of things; every year we've had more HD games, but I want it now! :)

    Cheers,
    Tom

It turned to HD in the 3rd quarter here in Fins Land. Weird.

Given that D* showed the HD feed on the RZC it must be a bandwidth issue. They just weren't able to find room for 9 mpeg2 channels at one time.

Makes you wonder why they aren't broadcasting NFLST in both mpeg2 and mpeg4...
