    Great feature!

It would be even better if we could enter the programming manually rather than navigating the channel grid.

The mobile version of the scheduler allows you to do what you are asking...make a "manual" recording
you can "pad" your recordings this way...and no you do not need a mobile phone to use it...works just fine for me.....

I had this problem and after several back and forth emails to Direct TV I was directed to call tech support. For me the issue was they had my second HR 20-700 in their system as a HD 20 (receiver- non DVR). After verifying serial and model numbers within 5 minutes they had both of my boxes showing.

It's not. The rumor is sometime in February.

Thanks moonman! With that interface I can run TiVo-style wishlists on a computer and program the HR20 over the 'net.

    Excellent!

The listings page on D* is not displaying all of my HD channels (i.e. any of the Viacom channels that launched in November aside from MTVHD) so thus i cant use remote booking for them.

I have tried Remote booking 4 times now and nothing ever gets recorded. I look in History and it says Failed program no longer available. I also get the e-mails that confirm the recordings. Is there still problems or is it just a few that don't work?:nono2:

I would like to restrict my choices to only HD channels in TV Listings. The only filters I see are My Channels and All Channels. Is this possible?

Remember, you are still dealing with only 2 satellite tuners (one if you are only using one line). The DVR scheduler does not change this fact. The recording will fail if the tuner is busy watching / recording something else.

Check your Series links, of course you can always use the “Defiantly record this” option but this can cause one of your series links to fail.

The email confirms that the request was sent to the receiver, it does not verify that it actually recorded.

Is there a way to get to your OTA channels? We don't have HD locals from D* and I don't want to set the recording on the network programs from remote booking on the SD channels. The online guide does not show the -1 locals.

Sorry if this was covered previously.

I have the same issue and have done a test...

I'm set up to get my local HD stations via my antenna on my HR20-100 box (I don't subscribe to the local station package via D*).

When I go to the D* website and try to schedule one of my local stations to record - I don't get an option for 4-1. I do get 2 listings for each channel (I'm guessing one is the analog station, and one is the digital/hd station from D* Satellite. I tried selecting each of these and get the same result on my box when I try to play the content. I get a "searching for authorized content" message.

I'm think my HR-20 is trying to record the local station via the directv signal, instead of my antenna.

Is there any way to fix this? It records just fine when I initiate the record from the HR-20 box instead of online.

    Thanks for your help!

    The rumors say mid-February.

I emailed DTV and received a response that said "before the end of the year"!!

I can confirm that both my HR21 and HR20 are showing up in the Scheduling window drop down box. As of last week only the HR20 was showing up. They turned it on since then.

Remote booking seems to be having issues with the xxx-1 national HD channels. I tried to schedule a test recording from Food Network on the DirecTV website and it couldn't do it on any of my receivers, it said "We're sorry but we were unable to send the signal request to your receiver. Please try again later."

    Broken...
I was just able to schedule the season premier of "Jericho" on my HR21-700. Both of my 2X series HD DVRs are showing up in DVR Scheduling now.

Both of my HR20-100s have been active for a month now.
My HR21-700 just went active in the last couple of days.
My HR20-700 is still not active.

When we first had this activated (nonCE), the issue with the national -1 channels (FoodHD and HGTVHD and game only RSNs) was noted. The fact that we now get a message at the time we try to schedule makes me hopeful that this issue is being addressed.

I have another issue/feature request. Right now, if I want to go online and schedule a recording of ESPN SD, it records the HD channel. I don't know what would have to be done to allow the distinction of the SD channel over the HD channel online, but it is something I would like to be able to do.
