DVR Scheduler Trying to find non existent program - THR-22

    Every day I get 3 or 4 messages telling me that the requested program is not on the program guide but the DVR Scheduler will keep looking for it. I don't know what started this and cannot figure out a way to turn it off. Nowhere on the App, Directv website, or THR-22 screen menus are any references to "DVR Scheduler". Cancelling the unknown program off the To Do list doesn't help.

    As usual, DirecrTV tech support had no idea what I was even talking about.

    Can anyone help me with this?

    If you go to TIVO central > Messages and settings (or Read New Messages and settings) > Settings > Recording > Auto-Record suggestions - then turn off the auto record feature.

    That's always been off and I checked that it is still off. That's not the problem.

    For some unknown reason the messages have stopped.

    The TiVo God has smiled upon me, at least for now.

    Sounds as if the guide data is corrupted. I'm not sure if there's a way to refresh it on the THR22 (there is on the HRxx models). A reboot can't hurt.
