See......having channels in HD does make more people watch them. Hint hint, keep adding basic HD D*. ;)

I agree adding E!HD does make people enjoy it to some extent but gossip news gets tiring and annoying plus THE DAMN KARDASHIANS...:D But is better than crappy SD so ADD MORE HD...

Except it looks better on Comcast than DirecTv right now. Not THAT big a difference, but there is a difference.

E! might be in HD now but looking at the guide for 2 weeks I see zero programs that are in HD. There is no HD logo on any program on E!HD.

6 HD channels is new, we've had 5 HD and 1 SD for a while, but new (expensive) technology on the ground can provide more with less at the same quality these days.

Lack of a logo is not always reliable.

I recorded two E! shows last night to just check out the HD quality. E! News at 7pm ET and Chelsea Lately at 11pm ET. Neither had the HD logo, and both were in HD.

I need to update my wife's series links today. I think she's got 2 E! shows.

It will just leave Style and WeTV as the only series on her HR34 not in HD, I'm already 100% covered for every series link.

I totally agree on this. There is nothing there to watch. From the guide we have "ice loves coco" and Joan Rivers. I will stay with the Science channels and "me-tv" ota for now.

I sure wish BBCA was in HD. I really like Top Gear and Dr. Who.

But ratings wise, more watch E! than BBCA. Its not wasted space even if it doesn't interest some of us.

And others say the same about British shows and old movies. To each his or her own, but the more basic HD the better.

I for one am glad to see E! in HD. Kinda seems like it came out of nowhere. My cable co. had E! HD for quite a while. I'm not a huge fan but I do watch the Kardashians with my wife. It was hard to watch it in standard def.

We should all make an attempt to be respectful of others, if you don't like something that's fine but there is no reason to be insulting.
