One World Sports (channel 623) is now Eleven Sports Network. One World Sports had been in limbo for a few months.

Guide data has not been updated, which doesn't seem all that surprising since Eleven Sports doesn't even have any information regarding U.S. operations on their website.

"EXCLUSIVE — Viewers of One World Sports awoke Saturday morning to the channel being relaunched as Eleven Sports."

"By all accounts, this is not merely a name change but has the looks of a complete takeover of the beleaguered network."

"Eleven Sports is a completely separate entity based in the UK with active sports channels in Poland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Singapore and Taiwan...[] It is unclear what changes in properties and coverage we may see in the future but for now we can expect the same coverage that we saw on One World Sports."

Thanks for the info. It seems like the same marketing idea, which is to show sports not particularly popular in the USA but produced in English due to popularity elsewhere in the Anglosphere, but different owners. Wish them well.

According to their website, their international channels show La Liga, NBA, NFL, FA Cup, Serie A... Obviously they won't show these in the USA as others hold rights (although FA Cup rights are up for renewal), but it seems like a much more extensive operation than One World Sports, which could compete with BeIN for high profile international sports (especially because BeIN is oversaturated).

I wouldn't be shocked if FOX manages to retain the rights to the FA Cup. Especially since they are now losing UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League to Turner Sports and Univision starting for the 2018/2019 season.

I don't care what they call the channel, I am just glad that the KHL is back for the playoffs.
