Do you have to end your service on the date of the billing cycle. Or does DTV pro-rate your service?

You can end when every!!! But if you have a contract you have to pay what ever the terms of the contract are.Better Read Fine Print.Depending on the receivers you have it could be a few HUNDRED $$$

You get pro rated from the day you cancel. Last month when we canceled it was 3 days in the billing cycle and the bill came to $7 and change.

Depending on when you got the equipment. I think you can just send it back and they will release you from that contract with no fee. I am not 100% sure when that started so if needed it can be looked into. :)
