Thanks, I see it on 292 as well. Don't like the location, but lets see what happens, after the freebie promo's are over, for its final location.

I didn't see EPIX3 yesterday. Is the sound better? The voice track on EPIX 1 & 2 are low. I'm almost deaf in my right ear.. Hopefully they'll fix it someday, because they have great movies.

I am not seeing it. What satellite and TP is it on?

As of 08-11-10, 04:30 PM ET:
    292 EPIX3 119° TP 11 SD - AVAILABLE
    292 EPIX3 72.7° TP 22 SD MPEG4 - AVAILABLE

Check your channel locks. It is possible that channel 292 got locked out when it was other content. (I've done that.)

    Now I see it.

Funny, it was not there when I looked before.

I agree, if it's not in hd I won't even put it in the guide. There's no reason
    not to have it hd.

I believe it is only being provided in SD by the programmer and not a decision by Dish to have it only in SD.

Lots of SD recievers out there. They have to through all those 5XX and 6XX users a bone every so often.

Hmm. I still don't see it. My eyes must be bad along with my right ear. I'll do a check switch tonight.

I just noticed on Dish's website that it is also being offered ala-cart for $7 a month.

That's a shame. Maybe it's an EPIX promo for SD customers.

At present it appears to be a new channel for the AT250 package only. I'm seeing it just fine. Try a "soft" reset on the receiver; it has cleared up channel issues for me in the past. Good luck!

It is a regular channel that has been placed (as the thread title states) in AT250 and (as noted in the thread) is available a la carte. The content is separate from EPIX1 and EPIX2 and is only available to DISH in SD.

While it is a SD channel I wish that it was available to anyone with EPIX, just for completeness. I don't believe it is worth $7 alone. The channel placement seems odd as well.

Well, OK. I guess another SD movie channel isn't bad.
But do we need one that mirrors two other movie channels?

If I had control of the money being spent on EPIX 3, I might choose Cinetic's Film Buff Video-On-Demand channel instead. Film Buff offers smaller movies, often better movies than the big-boxoffice fare found on so many of Dish's movie channels.

Film Buff is offered by many cable systems, so by
adding it to Dish's lineup, it might be a way to get
Indie Movie lovers to switch to Dish.

Just a thought... from someone who likes the smaller, independent films that don't get the widest distribution.
