It certainly would be a potential vehicle for a lot of humor.
we need a vomit smilie.
you must have missed it...
What's wrong with this one? haha
Gee, am I the only one here who thinks a show with Lily Tomlin and Kathryn Joosten could be hilarious fun?
It definitely could be. Their characters are great on DH but I'm not entirtely sure about a whole show based on them. I'd probably give it a try though.
Yes, I think this would be a great idea.
I think it's a great idea. I think it's amusing first of all that Desperate Housewives is always submitted for Emmy Award consideration as a Comedy, so I see nothing wrong with a new half-hour (can't picture a full hour) "true" comedy centered around these two characters.
I know I would watch this. I think it's great to see TV shows that aren't just targeted to younger folks.
I don't think you could pay me to watch it.
Maybe if your in that coveted 60-99 demo.
I agree about the half-hour sit-com approach. "Housewives" needs four primary characters with significant others to make an hour work week after week, and most times I wonder if it is really "working" any more.
And it would have to be written to showcase the talent involved. Maybe I remember how funny Lily Tomlin can be with an old guy's memory that makes things better than they were. And Kathryn Joosten played her role on "West Wing" with humor and a lot power for a minor character.
