Well, the moon must've been in the right phase, etc. etc. last night because I got all of the West Wing without signal breakups (NBC is *very* weak until they get the tower put up in Denver next year). However, I noticed while skipping commericals that the autocorrect (jump back a few seconds when you hit play) doesn't seem to be calibrated right for high def recordings. The HDTiVo works the same as my SDTiVo on standard def recordings (after a few years of doing this, I know just when to hit play), but when I did the 2 FF .. wait for commercials to pass .. hit play - I ended up having to back up a fair amount (more than just a few seconds) to get to the point that the same kind of sequence in standard def does just fine. Has anyone else noticed this? It's not a huge deal, but I wonder if the autocorrect/backup algorithm is still based upon standard def data amounts (or whatever in the MFS parlance they base it off of).
