    NY Hudson...
Johan Santana has just competed the Mets First No-Hitter in New York Mets history. Only took 50 years and 8,000+ games.

Just flipped over from the Yankees game to catch the last three outs. Congrats to Johan. He is a class act.

What bothers me is that some bozo from the stands got onto the field and participated in the congratulatory huddle. Guy was wearing a Gary Carter (RIP) jersey and shorts.

He was forcefully escorted away soon thereafter.

There's usually one of those in every game, and it did nothing to decrease the pressure of the last few innings. As Game Fan said, Santana's a class act who deserves recognition for this, IMHO, given how hard he worked to come back from season-ending shoulder surgery in 2010.

No there isn't. There's a great catch or close play at a bag, but bit an obviously blown call like that.

Still a great pitching performance, but that call was terrible.

obviously blown call on repeated slow mo replay.

Human error. Can't always judge it 100% of the time.

    WOOO METS!

Yeah, that was a SNY gimmick that was thought of only a couple of days before the no-hitter.

Maybe SNY should of thought of it as soon as they took over broadcasting Mets games if the result would have been just as immediate.
