Fix Incoming For Recordings Missing From 'List'?

    I have an HR44 and C41. The C41 will stop showing certain recordings in its "List" every two days or so. The recordings show just fine on the Genie. A red-button-reset on the client fixes it temporarily. Is this a known issue with a fix incoming?

    Do the HS17 and its clients have this issue?

    I have an HS-17 and it does happen.

    This "missing recording" bug is fixed in the software update that just started rolling out recently. But it can take several weeks for all boxes to be updated.

    I have a "free" upgrade and have considered the HS-17...but still haven't found a compelling reason to switch to it...this doesn't help.

    I love it. Best hardware I've ever had from them. Six tvs connected and never any conflicts.

    The missing recordings "feature" has been well known for at least six months and applies to all current "Genie" (HR44 / HR54 / HS17) DVR's with or without clients. It is not a hardware problem and it is not a bug; it is poorly written, poorly tested and poorly managed software combined with an apparent lack of concern by AT&T / DirecTV.

    Regarding a fix, there have been multiple claims that the missing recordings problem has been or soon will be corrected, but I have not seen a single post from an actual user of the "latest software release" that confirms any change.

    Really. Because there have been many posts stating from people that software 1147/1149 and 0114B which is rolling out now fixes the issue

    The key words were "actual user".

    Are you actually using NR versions of 1147 / 1149 / 0114B on your equipment and stating that the missing recordings problem has been eliminated?

    I have 1147....Saturday nights Avalanche game was recordeing, but not in the playlist......

    It recorded the entire program but did not show in the playlist until it ended recording.

    That Goes against the other reports.. People have been having issues with the recordings disappearing period unless a reboot is done or resorting the playlist.. Not that a recording is missing while it is recording then appears as soon as it is done.. I suspect your issue may be more not scrolling to the top of your playlist

    Not scrolling to the top of my Playlist? Really? That's the best you have? After months of this crap it happens because I don't scroll correctly?
