    it's about time for a new freeview as i was beginning to worry that at&t were already ruining it.

    Doubt that could happen. Most freeviews are done by the premium channel themselves, Not by Directv or whatever.

    Are you sure Sundance is part of the free preview? After they renewed their contract with Sundance's new owner AMC Networks it's now in Xtra and higher.

    Unlike HBO, Showtime shows movies in their original aspect ratio.

    nope, not sure. just going by that link that does say it is included with this freeview.

    i had HBO for a few months and they added Sundance (that's why i know about HD), lost it when i cancelled HBO. i would like to know if Showtime people get Sundance?

    I do not have Showtime (only Cinemax) and I get Sundance with my package (Xtra).

    Do you guys know when Homeland new season starts?

    Are you aware of any special promotion that DirecTV is running on Showtime?

    We (actually SWMBO) subscribe to Showtime and get the Sundance channel as part of the subscription.
