$2.99 at a local sams club. ~$3.07 elsewhere.
Uh, no. Protectionism in any form generally is a lose-lose situation.
And $4.06 here now.
Yesterday: Unleaded $3.39, Diesel $3.74
Today: Unleaded $3.55, Diesel $3.99
Do your prices in Ogden generally track that much lower?
If so, Zounds! and Egad!
Same here in SE Denver, last week everybody was <$3.00, today there is still one station at $2.99 and the rest are $3.01 to $3.07
Here's where I buy gas ...
$4.45 this morning .. $4.37 yesterday .. $4.21 last weekend .. $3.94 the weekend before
Oh, and now I'm glad I have a Prius ....

$3.84 here at a local Mobil in the Albany, NY area.

There is some place in LA (not sure exactly where) that is charging $5.29/gallon for regular. Hopefully they at least pump gas for you there.
LosAngelesGasPrices.com lists a Chevron station on Olympic Blvd having the highest price ($5.39 a gallon).
Usually gas prices are slightly lower then the national average, but not $0.60+ cheaper. I don't know why Wyoming, Colorado, and Utah are so much cheaper then most of the nation right now. But I'm not going to complain right now.
