$2.85 the other day at the Shell and Texaco on the nearby reservation and matched at Safeway. Otherwise above $3.00, which is still much lower than in well over a year.

Think we'll ever see this again? Note the dates, this was not that long ago.

I just drove 1,000 miles from Texas City, TX to Savannah, GA.
The highest priced gas I saw and paid was $2.99. Most places it was $2.79 to 2.89.

$2.79 at Costco near me for the past few days. That was a drop from the $2.93 I paid a week ago.

My favorite cable news/comedy channel, Russia Today, is reporting that the approximately 25% decline in wholesale oil prices is wreaking havoc on their already pathetic economy.

What I'd like to know is, if Communism and crony capitalism don't work for Russia, how come they (seem) to work for China?

My mother is 91. She had been in the hospital for a surgery and then a nursing home for 6 weeks. I drove there to help her out for a week or so.
Of course my Kia Forte got an average of 34.8 miles per gallon so I did not have to get gas but a couple of times..

According to the local low price gas app you can find a $2.69 price at the Virginia & NW 8th Sinclair station in OKC.
Of course my car and bike both require premium so I just stop at a place that sells 100% pure gas and try to not look at the price.

I'll be sure to take advantage of that low, local price next time I'm there.

In many places around northwest Houston, prices are about $2.60/gallon. Last Saturday I paid $2.54 at an HEB in Pearland.

The closest station to me, a Chevron, is $3.45. The Union 76 is the same (it's next closest). A block further is Valero at $3.11. The BIG Safeway is $3.03 and I get a discount.

HEY! WAIT A MINUTE! I HAVE AN ELECTRIC CAR! DARN!

Shocking! The Shell station less than 3 miles from me is $4.19! How do they stay in business?

I just drove 6 miles each way to save 5 cents a gallon on a ten gallon fill-up. Actually, when I saw that my local station's prices had dropped to $2.78.9, I figured I'd drive up the road to the local low-price area more out of curiosity than out of shrewd financial planning, and found it was $2.73.9 at the always suspicious cash-only-and-we-don't-even-charge-sales-tax on-our-candy indie.
