That pretty much sums up why I quit Comcast back in, like, 94 (I think). Absolutely the worst techincal support, customer service, and service quality I've ever seen. AT&T has been berry berry good to me:) and DirecTV, of course:goodjob:

Here I am on a trip to Silicon Valley all set to try the Supercast out with my notebook and AT&T 3G wireless card which has been super fast for the past year.

Nothing runs any video. Not the web or air client.
Checked the speed of the 3G and I'm getting a whole 60kB/sec.

Now I understand all the 3G iPhone user complaints. But it's the network. Something is wrong.

No supercast testing for me tonight.

My plan is to have this, my work laptop, and the TV going all at the same time. I'll catch one game on Supercast, another one via Slingbox, and the Lions on the HDTV.

I have no idea why my wife hates football season. :D

Mobile client worked last night for one highlight....the video was fine.....still have to log on each time despite checking "remember me", and there are too many screens to go through to get to the video.........

I've got an AIR client up and running. It's working mroe smoothly (in all aspects - channel changes especially) and the video is showing much less fast motion 'blockiness' than before. It's actually pretty watchable in full screen mode (on a 19" LCD). Kudos to DirecTV for this test and the tweaking they've done.

Just a recent canceller of Sunday Ticket, will my participation in this test be ended automatically? Or will I be able to enjoy the ride? If I could have afforded it, I'd have kept ST...

Quoted: me in post 19...anyone know the answer?

I'm pretty sure ST was not a requirement for this test, since even being a football fan wasn't. I'm sure you will get to enjoy the last week of pre-season with the rest of us :)
