I have gen2 DECA adapters. One one end, its going right into my router, the other end is splitting a coax connector between the genie box (which I barely use) and the secondary moca adapter. I get great speed, almost my full 100mbs internet connection. All coax is connected in my house using the D* network. 1) Can use other brands or if the gen3 D* DECA adapters allow higher speeds beyond 100mbs? 2) If not, what are the limitations and how can I improve it? 3) Can I add an additional adapter to the MOCA network? My Son games a lot and we want to leave the wireless for browsing while we stay wired 4) Can someone aware me on balun adapters and if I should be using them? 5) Is is worth upgrading to gen3 from gen2? 6) Has anyone attached a small switch to share out the DECA connection, e.g., for multiple game system's, etc.
