My client has recently only offered me 720P as it says my TV will only take 720P. My TV, actually an HD projector will take 1080P. Can anyone suggest a fix? Also, does the client output RGB or YCbCr?

Menu, Settings & Help, Settings, Display, Resolutions
See if the 1080i, 1080p are checked

While you are there, look on other Display pages and see if it says Native OFF
If it does it will give whatever you want when you go and physically change it
With Native ON it will send whatever signal the satellite sends to the client to the TV.

Have turned it off and back on? Did anything Change?

Have you pressed the red button on the side of the receiver?

I have the same problem sometimes. Have to reset receiver and go and check the resolution box again in settings. Major PITA!

Reset the receiver with the red button did the trick. Now, a similar issue that's been bugging me since the beginning. It won't hold the Dolby Audio status. It will reset to standard audio when powered off. Anything that can be done to fix that?

Folks, when you have a problem and aren't sure what to do you cannot go wrong with resetting the box. What works so well for computers works well for D* devices. First thing you should do.

Check the settings in your TV to see if it is selected as Dolby Digital.
