Genie minis

    I want to replace my wireless minis for wired if I purchase my self will DTV try and put me in a new contract

    How long have you had them? Maybe see if DIRECTV will replace them for free if they with Wired if they aren't working right. That should not extend contract.

    Since they are two different types of "receivers" you will in fact get locked in to a contract, UNLESS you pay FULL retail price for them which I don't think is even possible or get to buy form someone who OWNED them prior, like a DIRECTV employee. So if you pay $99 dollars for each client, that is a promotional price that comes with a two year commit.

    Thanks Guys , DTV is replacing both of them no charge, they where not working right, back to wired.
