Never Bench your studs.. Peterson should be in your lineup every week.
Which means there is already a TV crew there, and with a Monday game, worst case, they fly the original announcers into the game. Detroit is starting to look like a shoe-in for this game. Bet the stands sit mostly empty.
I'll bet they "sell" tickets for $10 or something very cheap. Looks like Detroit is it.
They did the same thing after the Chargers were forced out of town due to fires and they needed to hold the game in PHX.
Giants-Vikings game Monday night will be available on DirecTV/Sunday Ticket. Now we must address roof issue. Will update all ASAP from Greg Aiello
Just have the Blimp hover above to block the weather...and let it ride...
According to published reports, the U of Minn stadium is out because the Giants didn't bring any cold weather gear with them. That's why the other domes, Det or St Louis are being considered.
And part of the point. Fox has the rights and already has its camaras and such set up there. Other posibility is New Orleans, for same reason. One would have thought that Kansas City would be logical, since the Giants are still stuck there, but that is an AFC town and Fox cannot get its TV crews in there on short notice.
I was hoping for Wrigley....
If they don't find a quick solution in the bubbledome....then I suspect others are right that Detroit will be the alternate solution - TV crews, refs, and such in place today already.
Unconfirmed reports .. Detroit is the game location. Monday Night 8pm ET.
Its most likely it will be in Detroit the Giant have all their gear for a dome
I am now looking at where the game next Monday may be... kinda hoping it will be relocated... and then maybe I can take a road trip to teh game.....
NFL Net says its mostly likely Detroit. The refs assigned to the NY-Minn game would also go. The league wouldn't have refs work two days in a row. And NFL Net confirmed ST subs will get the game
Nice on ST coverage .. Is this the first Sunday Ticket game not on a Sunday?
NFL Network saying 7:20pm start now .. In Detroit. Should be an official announcement soon. NFL Network also confirming Sunday Ticket availability.
7:20 start per NFL Network
Yup .. 7:20pm .. Also, apparently this is the first time in 10 years that Detroit has gotten a Monday Night Football game.
ESPN News - Giants-Vikings moved to Detroit's Ford Field Monday at 7:20 pm ET due to collapse of Metrodome roof
This isn't all that important but I was just curious. Do the Minneapolis and New York markets get a 1pm Fox game today or just the one tomorrow night?
Tfed should be happy
