Same glitch is present in new software

When setting up "favorites" you reach a point (channel #) where the box you're checking doesn't match the "channel logo" displayed on the right.

EX: box 544 TMC -- HBOHD logo is displayed

2nd H20-100 receiver: box 544 TMC -- displays Directv logo
    545 TMCw -- displays HBOHD

I'm getting Showtime Extreme at 544.

Problem looks to start at 523. STZEHD is displayed. STZEHD displayed at 522 also.

That's not the only problem in 0x407A. I hide SD channels behind HD channels, remove SD channels from my favorites lists, yet hitting 9 takes me to KQED-SD, not
KQED-HD. (Other HD locals are selected properly, only 9 is affected.

I've also noticed that it seems overly sensitive to signal loss. I've always had pixellation and video problems before a complete drop and a 771 message but for the last couple of weeks, this system has been dropping during any rain at all and the OTA has been giving me 771's as well. The other day I was down for over an hour waiting for the rain to stop. Without the usual pixellation prior to the drop. I actually did a menu reset the other day to see if that would help and lost all my locals when the H20 came back up. I had to rescan for channels and then it added a bunch of channels that don't exist in my area along with the ones that do. There've been some real odd stuff going on with my H20-100 since the last CE but I don't know if it's related to this particular CE or not since it wasn't something that was noticeable immediately after the CE (for instance the frequent 771 errors during storms)

I received this update on one of mine, now I have to enter 4 digits to jump to a channel (i.e. for channel 5, I have to enter 0005 and 360 I have to enter 0360).

    Anyone else experiencing this?

When I go to the autotune menu and select History, the system reboots. It has done this twice to me so far.

I'm looking into whether this is officially rolling out nationally. When I am sure, I'll fold your comments into the official issue thread.

Not seeing that on my H20-100 with 0x407A. That said what no longer works is entering a non-existent channel number to get to the nearest existing channel.

e.g. I'd often enter 2 to get to the first local channel (7) because 2 was easier to press on the remote. Now I just get a "Channel Not Available" message.

Another thing I noticed (just received the update last night) was an entry in my "Recent Searches" list that I hadn't put there. Looked like a reference to porn. I deleted it and it hasn't come back. (BTW no-one else put it there).

    zip code:03079 (correct)
    primary local: 3079(missing 1st digit)
    secondary local: 0

This is on my primary h20 i will check the other one when kids go to bed.
Update 7/10/08 10 am, second receiver shows correct 5 digit zip code for primary local and "NONE" for secondary local

Just noticed a glitch and wondering if anyone else with this release is seeing it.
When using the Prev button, closed captions turn on about half the time. It has happened repeatedly, just not every time.

I thought I might be bumping the yellow button somehow, but being careful, that was not it. CC also comes on when using the previous channel list on the yellow button menu. To be clear, button sequence: yellow, enter on prev ch list, select channel, exit to clear menu, CCs appear on new channel.

Haven't seen this on the HRs, though, just H20-100, and just on this latest release 0407A.

Second that. We've had some pretty nasty storms roll through the past several days, but the "771" was popping up all day primarily on the locals yesterday, with the OTA as well. We live in a very wooded area, so my first thought would be the trees and such, but this wasn't an issue until the new software was installed; in fact, before the new version, it REALLY had to be pouring to get any drop at all.

I received the update on 7/2. I don't use the favs or anything, so can't really comment on that. However, to me it seems that my PQ is much improved over the last national release. In both SD and HD, and my wife has even noticed our improved PQ. So for me, so far so good!

Another glitch with this NR... on MLB 735 picture is stretched, full screen, regardless of being set on pillar, crop, or whatever. Same game on 632 goes to pillar box as normal. The cause seems to be channels with interactive features, since MLB has the red button active and newsmix and sportsmix channels do the same on this H20. I do not have this problems on the HRs. Is there a CE coming, or another NR to address these issues? Or is it just me? Any of you H20-100 owners out there seeing wierdness? I'm still having the CC issue described in the above post.

The next time the this happens, go into the full setup menu and disable it. I had the same problem and that fixed it for me.
