Checked here this afternoon....nada in TX. I guess we'll get it when we get it
if you have time can you see whats going on with the national release for H20-600 x2024
I had a power outage this morning and it went back to a download screen on its own i got x0F14 agian and tried to reforce download x2024 is gone only 0f14 is aviable
well after spending time with james from tech support @directv the version of software that is there only national release is 0F14,he told me x2024 will not go national,so i expect another ce maybe this weekend i hope
This is the single most ignored product at D*. Is there any other product they have completely ignored for 13+ months?
Figures... :nono2: I guess I'll quit checking my H20 to see if it has updated
It would be nice to have the firmware upgraded though. I can even live with the double tap to get to the guide. But the guide itself is pathetically slow, especially when compared to my SD receivers.
i don't have 299.00 for there hr20 what choice we have h20-600 or h20-100
looks like there forcing us to the hr20's lets hope not maybe that why the h21 will be out.
me getting so sick now i hear dish does'nt give true hd .directv does.
what the use if the h20 will not work most of times
Wanna try that again after you sober up ?
me don't drink.let me explain better.
I do not have $299.00 for a HR20 - 700 HD DVR Receiver
I came up with $99.00
my choice for $99.00 for a H20 - 600 or a H20 - 100 to me i think there not good units ,so i had no choice got the H20 - 600 Receiver and no update on software since summer of 2006
I can not wait to have the H21 - 200 receiver that is coming soon
What doesn't your -600 do?
Yes, my H21 is faster than my -600, but my -600 functions with the old software.
can only use compoment video input ,hdmi cable the reciever like to reset constantly h21 how did you get that reciever its not on the market yet
The TV you have it not "main stream" so I understand your HDMI problem. It works fine with my Sony, but it seems to use a different chip for HDMI.
There is some new software coming and you might look over at the CE forum for when there is the next CE test software to see if it will help.
As for the H21, I was lucky to be picked to do some field testing for it.
Is there anyone in the San Diego area that has already received this upgrade? I'm in North County and it has yet to hit my machine.
Can anyone say, as close to specifically as you can, where the H20-600 upgrade is being sent? Or, is there an upcoming CE for the -600? I'm in West Central Ohio and really, really want x2024! I missed the last CE.
Please and thank you!
this is exactly what the tech @ directv told why it won't release
although this is something Earl Bonovich can answer,he is the best on this
Wow...that sucks. I thought this upgrade was supposed to make the guide quicker
this is all confusing,I stopped calling DirecTV .I keep in touch with this forum ,there info here is most accurate then DirecTV,only this the H20-600 info is missing in action somewheres
I cannot watch my new HD TV without this Update, sucks HDMI reboots
You can watch your TV using the component connection.
It's the analog HD output.
And I believe your problem is with your TV not following the HDMI standard, so you need to wait for D* to accommodate the variation that your TV decided to use.
Sorry for the noob question but how does it do it on its own? Does it come off the satellite or must a telephone line be plugged in or what?
When DIRECTV is ready to update the receiver they will push the update over the SAT's. You do not need a phone line connected for it to happen.
