I hate to start a new thread but wanted to see if Earl or someone else can comment on whether x2024 for H20-600 is national or not ? I'm in Atlanta at 30092 zip and still on 0xF14. The link at the top of this thread still has 0xF14 but the software update thread/notice has x2024. I've not yet received this update.
    Earl ?

Also, I tried to reboot (RBR) with 02468 and either it is not seeing this release for me or I'm missing when to type in. I know it is suppose to be at the Welcome Screen but with my PJ/TVs through Component it takes a few seconds to sync and I miss that screen...I think. On the HR20 I can tell by the Blue ring of lights coming on...any tricks with H20-600 ? I really don't need to force if this is coming down soon anyway.

    Thanks.

I downloaded the CE 2030 last night for the H20-600 and it hosed up my receiver like mostly everyone else who tried the CE firmware update last night. I reverted back to the national release this morning and it is still 0F14 here on the east coast.

Thanks.....I guess I'll be patient....0xF14 works OK just lacks alot of features but I'd rather get solid update. The x2024 must be a staggered "trial" rollout.

x2024 is NO GOOD! It screwd up all my receivers and this morning I reverted all of them to 0F14.

thekochs, I lied to a point. I reverted back to 0xF14 this morning and about an hour later it downloaded the new 2024 FW update. It works just fine.

I think you mean 2030, not 2024, which worked fine for me. Now I can't get 2024 back after the busted 2030 CE last night and am only being downloaded the OF14 NR on TP25, not the 2024, which is simultaneously available on TP30. I've tried it twice now, so 2024 is unavailable to me now at my location. Perhaps it will upgrade automatically at some point, but I have not seen that happen before where it is unavailable as a forced download. ...

No, I did mean the 0x2024. I reverted back to 0xF14 this morning and an hour later it updated to the national release of 0x2024. Yes, I did download the CE 0x2030 last night, but it did hose up my receiver like it did many others.

So 2024 is also no good for you then as you originally stated. That's unusual.

No, the 2024 National Release is good!!! The CE 2030 last night was no good. Read my other posts because they are clear.

You should see your 2024 auto-download either tonight or soon after.
I had the same thing a couple of weeks ago with my -100. Forced a D/L and got the old version, then the newer came overnight

Well, at this point, it's not worth your editing your post #4...

Thanks, VOS, I suspected there might be a time-of-day issue on the 2024. We'll see what's going on tmw am.

There have been an unusual number of bad DL's from D* lately, after months of smooth sailing, no? I'm sitting on 018A on my Hr-20's 'til the dust settles, in any event.

D* is "working hard" to add [update] their software for several things.
Yes, some of us are having a tough time [while others love it].

    Still NOTHING here in VA...
...starting to get very frustrated. I was planning on testing the new CE (had never done it before)...but after reading the above posts, I think not.

Thanks VOS...I'm happy to wait I just assumed from Earls post of the x2024 that it was National: http://www.dbstalk.com/showthread.php?t=96630
I thus worried for some reason my receiver mucked up. I'll wait...let everyone know tommorow morning (since my downloads show-up 4:30am EST) if x2024 is there.

Re-authorizing your receiver from the D* website may cause it to download faster FWIW

How do you do that ? 02468 at reboot is the only item I'm aware of which as you know is a force. Can you tell me details of above ? Thx.

I already have all my equipment filled in online with s/n and access card....is this what you are referring to or is there some other "authorizing" link/area ?

After you login, go over to troubleshooting [on the right] and then the next page "refresh your services"
