    Did an "early" download.
Sat 119 transponder 25 still missing (it's there at sig strength 93-94 on all my other receivers) so people may still have an SD problem.
Good news - 499 works OK with SWM, also guide problem seems to be solved (did the "VOS test" - set the H21 to a sat 103 channel, powered off, waited 15 minutes, powered on again, watched guide populate OK....)

Software was pushed successfully by D*.
    No re-authorization needed.
    Still no local SD channels.
Have almost 24 hours of guide data and now being left on local MPEG-4 NBC to see if it continues to populate connected through SWM.

0x400B automatically downloaded to my box successfully at 12:13am. I noticed when I came home that the 1080i light was on, but all other lights were off and the H21 was not active. Pressed the power button once on the remote and the 1080i light went off. Pressed it a second time and the H21 came on no problems. After it was on I double checked the version, and it does say 0x400B.

In addition to that above minor bug, when I checked the guide right afterwards everything says "regular schedule". Seems to be the same guide bug we have all experienced with the previous versions so far. H21 was last on MPEG4 WNBC before it was powered off and that was the channel that came up first when I hit the power button. Did a reset from the GUI and the guide data came back again. I do NOT have a SWM.

Downloaded on it's own successfully @ 11p CST. Also noticed the 1080i light was active and was worried the GUIDE was gone again. Not so. The GUIDE appears fine and loaded.

Test Channel 499 reports Searching for Signal.

Issue - Guide Data Lost, "regular schedule" was in the guide.

Can it be Duplicated - Yes

Steps to see the failure - Try leaving system on local HD channel over night. It was channel 24 HD for me.

    Date of Install - 07/12/2007
    Current FW - 0x400B
Type of Sat Dish - 5LNB AT9, Single line feed to BBC => Sat In
    H21 Full Reset - Never
    H21 Networked - Not Used
H21 HDMI Connection - Not Used
H21 Component Connection - Not Used
    H21 Composite Connection - Yes
    H21 S-Video Connection - Not Used
H21 Native Mode Setting - On
    H21 Format Resolution Setting - 480p only
H21 Phone Connection - Yes, all the time
H21 Fiber Audio Connection - Not Used
H21 RCA Audio Connection - Yes
    H21 Dolby Setting - Off
    H21 Zip Code - 78641

Notes - Woke up this morning and noticed the 480p light on. Got excited thinking that the reboot and download of the new firmware changed the LED's. Not so sure that it wasn't just a duplication of the "regular schedule " in the guide bug. Tried changing channels to other channels. Tried 79, 115,200, and 201 and the guide has not repopulated. I have not seen the "regular schedule" issue, it has always been "Tp Be Announced" in my guide. This time it was the "regular schedule" being reported in the guide.

As I posted in another thread, I got the update overnight, automaticaly 12:15a.

I had to send a reauthorization to my card via D* website this AM because it was giving me a message on all channels that my card was wrong for the receiver. The reauth worked. I tried a soft reboot before I tried the reauth.

    Lower...
400b was pushed to me last night. Had to do a web refresh. All was well, except Guide data was lost. A "menu restart" restored Guide data. No problems with SD or HD locals. /s

8 hours later...guide fully populated while on SWM and local HD channel.
    BBC channel 499 passes test.

I believe the SD local channels giving error 771 is because my Sacramento channels come from the San Fransisco Spot beam.
Signal strength seems to only show transponders "allowed" by my account [access card].
Off my SWM with my twin HR-20s, I read three transponders from SAT 99 and three from 103 with 95%.
My H21 shows only transponder #1 on SAT 99, which is my Sacramento spot beam.
While I don't care about transponders I don't get channels from, I DO care about channels I SHOULD have.
In my household, this is a deal breaker [stopper] as PBS is not carried in HD and has shows that are watched weekly.

OK, I know this is a field trial and why we're to test.
I'm just trying to show the priority of this "bug". :)

Let the box automatically update last night. Was tuned to a MPEG4 (ch 42 KEYE DT) overnight, this morning have the regular schedule bug in the guide, using a WB68 only. Continue to have the HDMI audio handshake issue with my Dell W3201C when I turn both the Dell and the H21 on at the same time, no audio.

I'm definitely getting most of the transponders that are not "mine" - however I am still not getting 119/25, it is zero on my H21 and is in the 90s on all my other receivers/DVRs.

Also tried the "VOS test" again, to see if I could create missing guide data problem. Set to a 103 channel, powered down, waited 25 minutes, powered up again. receiver powered up but with no channels enabled. Did a refresh through the web site. H21 came up again OK with guide data but no local HD channels. Refreshed again, saw the refresh occur but still no HD locals in guide. Checked dish setting - 5lnb. Refreshed again. This time HD locals appeared in guide.

On my HR20-700 119/25 = 32 , R15-300 = 36 and H21-200 = 0. So at least at my location it looks like the H21 either isn't as sensitive or after a certain threshold the box just shows 0 since you wouldn't be able to receive a channel with a signal that low.

    From a bit of work:
I need to get transponder #12 from the 101 SAT.
My Hr-20s get it fine off the same SWM port, but my H21 shows zero.

Is this a software problem or an authorization issue?

I get the same thing from my HR20 and H21 coming from the same SWM line or both of them running off my WB68.

    HR20 #26-91 #28-0

    H21 #26-0 #28-0

It looks like transponder #26 on my H21 is my problem.

    Audio Issue : Drops
Channel set to 73 ESPN and the audio drops out about 1 minute after PWR up and then will usually drop again within the next 10-15 minutes as per other Software. I'm going to try and time it next time. I get the same Issue on channel 78 HDNM and had origionally thought it was just that channel.

In info, the current software reads:

    0x400d9:34PM

There is a comma and space missing and it doesn not list the date.
