South Hall registration booths - main entrance....about Noon.

I have at least 14 places to stop Saturday...including some of the names mentioned earlier in this thread.

He could wear 2 hats....including the RVU org one...but also could be a "change" of his employer.

I'm betting we're going to get some good information out of the RVU Alliance exhibit there hdtvfan0001! :D I am 75% sure the unit that they will be touting as the server will be the HR24. This gets more and more exciting everyday! :D I wonder if Samsung TV and LG TV will be able to see a HR24 and accept shows directly over ethernet, interesting!

Certainly some information tied to what we're all testing....

I also know of 4 other places to visit at CES that may hold additional "information"....or so a little birdie told me....:D

My next TV will likely be another Samsung in a year or 18 months. I really hope this is the case. :D

It is very appealing! I've been buying Sharps and this will definitely put me in the Samsung camp.

That's also the path I would follow...have one and love it.

We should see some of the newest planned Samsung stuff at CES this weekend there Smiddy...;):D

I remember seeing the new BD60 and BD80 Panasonic Blu Ray players at CES last year...and then seeing them in stores less than 5 months later. It's a good place to do your XMAS shopping - for the next XMAS, of course.

Yep, and LG is going to be showing off a bunch of new Blu Ray players and some of the information I saw indicates they intend to be belly-ing up to the bar with some interesting whole home stuff too! ;):D

I have two Samsungs already, a three year old 56" DLP and a one year old 32" LCD - both are fabulous products.

Yup - last year....LG was on the "wireless whole home" kick at the CES with demos and neat stuff....

There are several vendors there that will have "ties" to DirecTV thingys...

So if you take a picture of the HR24 at CES, will you be able to post it in a regular CES thread at DBStalk? If there are other DBStalk members there who aren't in thie field test group, you know they will talk about it and take pictures. You guys might need to plan ahead about what to say so that you can acknowledge seeing it but not give anything away. If it's there and nothing is said, that may be a yellow flag.

Don't count on seeing an HR24 at the CES....and if by some highly-rare chance there was one....it wouldn't be published in any public area here, at least not in the short term - the Mods would control all that for us.
