And whose fault is that? The idiot had no self-control.
1-2-3-4-5-6 has the same chance as coming as any of the other 175 million numbers. If I knew for a fact that it was coming out tomorrow I would sure play even if I have to share it with 10,000 others.
Ya might wanna stay away from the bathtub tonight...
I'd think the odds would be harder for combinations like all consecutive, all even/odd etc.
Well, I did make a profit tonight, won $7.
I'l check when I get home, but I'd be shocked if no one won for one main reason--the winning numbers and powerball are all under 31, and because many people play birthdays/months, etc., those have to be under 31, raising the likelihood that someone ended up choosing them.
Last week's winning numbers have the same chance of winning, don't they? At least physically. But the odds of having the same winning numbers two weeks in a row are slim.
I wonder if any set of numbers has ever repeated? Perhaps that would be a way of eliminating losing numbers.
I was right. I knew those numbers would win. Winning tickets sold in Arizona & Missouri.
Back to work everyone...nothing to see...
No winning numbers. By that I mean, I had none of the winning one or two digit numbers on my whole card.
This is a rip off!
Heh. The odds of the same winning numbers two weeks in a row would be close to, if not the same as, the odds of picking a winner in any spin. I.e., monstrous!
Indeed. I bet someone with some time on his hands could figure out the odds of that happening. I am guessing that no matches at all happens several times more than some matches.
You're (not your) RICH now -- can I 'borrow' $1.50?
I didn't win anything.
Oh - wait a minute. I didn't buy a ticket! :rolling:
Didn't win a thing out of 10 tickets. Can not complain though as part of that $20 goes toward the Georgia Pre-K program and I've already won with that (having 2 kids gone through the program and 1 just waiting until that magical age of 4).
Me neither, but I figure I'm ahead by at least $5k. The Georgia Lottery kicked off June 30, 1993 -- I bought one ticket then to memorialize the event, and haven't played since.
I like to think of the money I've saved, not spent, not to mention the well over $10k I've saved on cigarettes since I quit smoking in '04.
A penny saved is a penny earned, tax free! :sure:
And all the money you've saved by not buying a new Rolls Royce every six months! Me too! We're rich!!!!
Shucks...and I was going to get you something "really special" with all the winnings I didn't get.
So apparently the numbers correspond to Kansas City Royals players that are in the Hall of Fame, and the Royals train in Arizona. Interesting coincidence.
Ah ha! It's rigged! I knew it!
Who knew what and when???
