Probably futile to ask this, but has anyone any idea if Directv will be adding the hallmark anywhere service.

It's not active yet on Hallmark's site, but DirecTV was recently added to the list of providers for it on Adobe's servers, so it might be coming soon.

Just to add... I also know that their has been a placeholder test record for Hallmark On Demand (would be channel 1312) since at least two years, probably mostly just to have it ready whenever a new renewal deal is in place for the rights with Crown Media Holdings.

    Polvos...
The people who watch Hallmark TV are the sort who only have internet for when their great-grandchildren come over.

Well that is an obvious over-generalization (and a little offensive in my opinion)

I don't watch Hallmark much but I do watch it occasionally for the movies. In this case, my wife caught a season of a tv series on Netflix and really liked it. When I looked it up, it turns out that it is a current series on the hallmark channel with only three episodes of this season left to air. Checking their website they have the entire current year viewable IF your provider is listed for Hallmark Anywhere. DirecTV was not listed, hence my question. Hoping to make the wife happy

I have had internet service for around 20 years now, no children or grandchildren, and Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries are among my two most watched channels.

I do know people that watch the Hallmark channels with grandchildren, but they had internet BEFORE they became grandparents. :)

Sweet. That's almost everyone I think. Now if we can get more for out of home I'd be even happier.
