Different strokes, I guess. :) Show still cracks me up in re-runs. Cast and characters were great, IMO, especially Linda and Bob.

CBS mismanaged the show terribly, IIRC. Couldn't find a time-slot for it, and kept bouncing it around the schedule.

I don't like Danson in Damages either. Sam Malone was kinda like bowling a 300 game the first time you play. Nowhere to go but down. And the cast of Cheers was amazingly appropriate for the show. I doubt if we'll ever see an ensemble show of that quality again, but then there was Seinfeld and Frazier so maybe there's hope.

That's about when I gave up. Shame. Really makes you wonder how such crap gets on TV, doesn't it?

Those were my sentiments and recations almost exactly to a "T". I came in wanting to see what Kelsey Grammar could do but, dear maker, I could NOT stand this!

No. Looked forward to seeing it and was very disappointed. I've seen it several times and still can't see why everyone raves about it. Seems terribly dated.

The only thing that I really liked about the show Hank was Hank's daughter Maddie played by Jordan Hinson hopefully she will be able to get another series soon.

Bingo, horrid jokes highlighted with horrid laugh tracks to inform you there was a punch line.

I can't believe they had it lead into The Middle at least that has a chance, in the mold of Malcolm in the Middle

    Yes, and I thought
we were not going to see much of her as she "went off to college" but maybe now she'll be home for Summer?
I used the spoiler because the comment is about the last season of "Eureka.";)

First time I saw it was in the early 50s. We had a copy on our ship and it didn't go over very well. That was in the early 60s. I still watch it from time to time, thinking I'm wrong, but I haven't changed my mind.

And yet, The Wizard of Oz has seemed to pass the test of time.

I had recorded Gone with the Wind that was on TCM but I had not gotten around to watching it again. I mentioned I had it recorded to 20 year old young lady. She had heard about the movie but never watched it. She sat in the chair and watched the whole movie without hardly moving. She loved it. I would have guessed she would watch the first 5 minutes and quit.

I wish they'd put TCM on HD. I catch a lot of good old movies on MGMHD and adding TCM would put me in pig heaven.
