You "deserve" whatever channels you pay for. Nobody forced you to pay the $10 for the HD pack. You chose to pay for those channels at that price. Why would you deserve something else because you made that decision.

If I go buy gas today for $2.75/gallon and tomorrow it goes down to $2.50, should Chevron refund me the difference?

Quit talking so logically :) It annoys me too, but I'll still pay it. I also don't think it's fair that you have to pay extra for HD with ST, but if I didn't get it for free, I'd still pay for it too.

I will add that Kelly Clarkson looks pretty good in HD in her breakaway video :) They play it after the Kelly/Reba Crossroads (I'm assuming the play the same videos when they rerun it.

I've seen DD 5.1 feeds on a few concerts. Nothing like having my sub kick in full tilt :D

This channel has got me back in to music tv. I really love the Crossroads programs. Im not a big country guy, but, hell, great singers, great sound and all in HD. Nice.

OK, Sheryl Crow is no goddess, but man did she look good yesterday evening and in 5.1 DD. Agreed, the bass popping is very kewl. Agreed 2, I think I'm going to be into music videos again because of this channel. My son was b-bopping around listening to the music and watchign the bands play. I never knew my 4 year old like music so much...perhaps its the HD and 5.1 DD? :hurah:

OK, they really need to stop with the country music 24/7.

    Anyone else with me?

The only great parts are when they do promos for Duran Duran or Bon Jovi.

Or the occasional U2 video that I miss.

No, in fact, I disagree. Not only that, the other night I sat down to enjoy some good music on the channel, and instead got aurally assaulted by Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and similar poorly written, angry music was following so I know they don't do country 24x7.

Country music is fine with me.
I have never seen Crossroads but I caught some episodes of it last night and I loved it. Ronnie Milsap with Los Lonely Boys, Lindsay Buckingham with Little Big Town and Bruce Hornsby with Ricky Skaggs. :biggthump

I like 70s and 80s rock and pop bands too but for that fix I watch VH1 Classic which I am hoping will go HD soon.

No, they are not county 24x7. I noticed the other day that they had nearly 24 hours straight of hip hop.

I also agree with others that the Crossroads Series is excellent. Unusual and interesting combinations of singers with very good PQ. I really enjoyed the Reba McEntire and Kelly Clarkson show. Unusal match, but they really sounded great together.

Whatever music they put on this channel it is 100% better than their parent channels and all of the crap reality shows that litter them. The PQ and SQ are INCREDIBLE!

Their selection isn't too bad so far. It seems like they repeat the same shows all week, but they had some good ones mixed in. I'm very happy that they showed Green Day's Storytellers uncut.
