FXHD looks great in High Definition!

Any idea when FUEL HD will start showing HD?

The 2.0 audio mix on Nip/Tuck was terrible. The dialogue was fine, but the music was all in the right channel, barely anything in the left. It was really obnoxious to listen to.

5.1 was fine when I watched it. Did you watch the first airing at 10 (the one I watched)? Or the repeat airing immediately after (at like 11:12 or something)?

At the very beginning when they were at the premiere there were white lines that "flashed" in the very top of the screen that was kind of annoying.... haven't watched yet, this was relayed to me by the missus.....

    I wasn't watching it with a 5.1 system, only 2.0. I know it was in 5.1, that's why I specifically mentioned the 2.0 mix.

Not just at the beginning, but this is a problem FX HD has had for a while. They should really fix it.

Would that be the fault of the 2.0 system for a bad downcovert? Asking as I don't know (though I do assume).

No, it's the fault of FX for sending out a bad mix.

So they send a 2.0 and 5.1 mix on the HD channel?

Thanks - I think this is the show that will make me leave my HD TiVo for the HR20.

Now you've got me thinking. I believe they do, but I'm not sure now. Either way, the 2.0 mix I was hearing was jacked up.

Watched Nip/Tuck last night with mixed results. Picture quality was great but I also had the white lines flashing in the blacked out areas of the SD letterbox commercials, such as the premiere spots. I also had audio dropouts throughout the show while watching in 5.1 through my receiver which was quite annoying.

Anyone else getting strange sounding audio on 248 right now? Everything sounds like it's being played through a radio in a X-Wing in Episode IV of Star Wars.
