Shouldn't this be added to the home page as a headline? I'm sure a lot of people will be very happy to hear this news. :)

Good news on the WB. I realized this when I saw 90210 was set to record in a few weeks and then I checked the guide and 54 was gone. I wish I would get an email from DirecTV when they ad new channels. Good news anyway.

Description of Issue - Audio sync issue

CBS audio is about .25-.5 seconds ahead of the picture. I have OTA as well so I know it is not a "source issue" FOX not as bad, but it is noticable.

    Happens on HR20-700, HR20-100, and HR24-500.

Dish had HD....Direct (as usual) was slow to get it. Heck, even Time Warner beat Direct on that one! But all's well that ends well.

I am seeing pixelation on KVUE and KXAN from DirecTV on the HD side.

    Channel(s) affected: KVUE-HD (ABC/channel 24) and KXAN-HD (NBC/channel 36)
    Date May 29 and 30, 2012
    Time 6:00-6:30 p.m.
Description of Issue: On the newscasts there is extreme pixelation in the video whenever a photographer zooms or pans. In other words, any kind of extreme motion in the video causes the picture to break up. I have seen this on other programming on these two channels as well, but the newscasts are the worst as they have video that tends to pan and zoom. I did not notice this before 5/17/12, but did upon returning from a trip on 5/29/12.

I've noticed this also on KEYE also. Haven't been able to figure out how to discribe it in a Tweet to them since some scenes with lots of motion are OK, other's aren't.

The scenes where it's obvious are those where a pan is involved. EVERY element in the picture is moving and the encoders just can't handle it. Has DirecTV purposely decreased the picture quality?

OK, so this is looking like a DirecTV issue. I'm recording KXAN at 6:00 today, both OTA and from Direct on my HR24. I'll compare the two and report back.

    (LATER)
Spoke with one of the engineers at KXAN this evening. He says it's a known DirecTV issue, known to the station AND DirecTV.

Anyone else seeing issues with fox abc and nbc with tonight's games? On my screens any motion results in severe pixelation. Seeing it on all of my tvs. Not seeing this issues on any if the games on espn and all my sig strengths are very high. I'm thinking its a problem with the local affiliates uploads to the transmission center.

Noticed choppy video on KAKW 62 (audio unaffected.) The choppiness doesn't appear on 402(Univision East) or KAKW OTA.

    Channel(s) affected - KXAN 36 Austin
Date - 4 Feb 2014 (for past several days)
Time - Evenings (the only time I've watched)
Description of Issue - Periodic picture breakup

For the past several days, I've noticed occasional "breakup" of picture and sound on Austin KXAN/36. The picture breaks up and freezes for a couple of seconds then recovers and looks fine. This happens every 5..10 minutes. The other Austin locals are all OK. It's not the station - the breakup doesn't happen on the over-the-air signal.

    Anyone else seen this?

    Thanks

Thanks. I haven't seen the UHF signal break up but I will use mediacenter to record OTA and post again in a few days.
