Nice find. NY locals look correct. Why doesn't NY have CW in HD but Atlanta and Philly do? Bah says I!

I don't think it was a "find"... He researched it, and built it... and asked if we could host it here...

First correction-Dallas NBC station KXAS should be channel 5, not 4.

As to why I've done this-I've seen some people asking what channels were available in certain cities. I have been tracking the growth of D*'s HD locals, so I pulled all my info together and made a list similar to the EKB HD locals list.

STO is showing on that map as being on Channels 96 AND 97 but its only on Channel 96. Is it possible that Channel 97 might be Fox Sports Ohio??!!

Hmmm... more fione tuning here. I don't have as much access to the channel placement of RSNs as I do to the local channels. Knowing that D* uses 96 and 97 for their HD RSNs, I just repeated that on all the game-only RSN listings. If you know for sure that a certain RSN is only on 96 or 97, please let Earl or me know so we can update the list.

    Very nice!!!

A potential future enhancement might be to add which satellites and transponders beam each city's HD Local Channels. It's a question often asked here as folks install new dishes and wonder which satellite/transponder provides their locals. Lyngsat provides the satellite info, but not the transponder info.

STO is on Channel 96 only here in the Cleveland DMA. I have heard that FSN Ohio is coming soon so MAYBE that would be on Channel 97 but Im not sure.

Correction for Phoenix, NBC and CBS needs to be switched with each other. CBS is channel 5 KPHO and NBC is channel 12 KPNX.

Nice job on the chart, looks good.

    Thanks.

For Washington, DC - channel 5 is FOX - there is no channel 13. Also, at least for me, channel 20 is not available as a High Def channel - there are only 4 local High Def channels available right now where I live in the Washington, DC area (and I assume it would be the same for the entire area).

We also receive KDAF Channel 33 in Dallas. It is the CW affiliate.

I think Comcast Sportsnet (629) is available in HD in the Baltimore market too. I can't verify because I do not have compatible equipment yet (will on Friday) but the SD channel 629 is available in Baltimore.

Yes, I would love to see the Sat and transponder info. It will help with any "moving" decisions. ;)

Is there a list somewhere of the DMAs that D* is working on--a timeline of when they might have their HD Locals uplinked?

All revisions noted and made. I was not aware of Dallas having CW33 in HD-if they do, then Dallas will be the first city with all the major commercial stations in HD!

BTW, Baltimore does not get Comcra... er, Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic in hD AFAIK.

Seattle looks mostly right... SOMEDAY we'll get Fox and ABC.

One small correction... I've seen Fox Sports Northwest on 95 as well.

You may have, but 95 is the MPEG 2 HD channel and 96 is the MPEG 4 channel.
